Los Angeles is tight against the cap and has 14 forwards under team control for next season (not counting MacEwen) plus at least a couple in Ontario who will be competing for a spot on the roster in training camp, so why in the world would the Kings make a $6-million-cap-hit-negative trade for an expensive forward when their needs are at LD and in goal?!?!?
Frank Vatrano has exceeded expectations, so Anaheim won't be trading him for junk. For that package, you can have the inexpensive Sam Carrick and Brett Leason.
