One of Boeser or Garland should be moved, personally I’d move Boeser. Bump Mikheyev and Podz up and you can get a safer 3RD than Livingstone in case he’s not NHL ready, as well as a backup to let Silovs get AHL game time

I'm not sold on Barbashev as the 3C but the Milstein pipeline is real. Gavrikov is more appealing.

One of Boeser or Garland should be moved and I would move Garland.

i think barbashev would be very good for vancouver especially on a line with mikheyev and hogs or podz, he'll do a lot better with those types of wingers

Beauvillier has been better than Boeser, is cheaper, and has great chemistry with Pettersson and Kuzmenko (I know Mikheyev did also and could fill in there though)

Selling high on him isn’t the worst idea though

I agree playstyle wise but Barbashev probably can't be relied on as a center.

Imo ideal scenerio with barbashev would be to trade 1 or 2 of garland/Boeser/beauvillier. Then sign barbashev AND a very defensive minded PK centre (kampf?).

You can then either run with barbashev as a top 6 winger or move him into the middle if you have injuries or need to shake up lines. I think babrbashev best replaces Boeser tbh so that’s the first player I would try and move, even though I love BB.

I didn’t want to get too carried away in the original post so I didn’t bother selling any wingers.

Lol.
This is essentially the same defense that I posted on an AGM today (Graves instead of Garvrikov) and you said, "Need one more good Dman imo". My defense wasn't good enough for being wildcard competitive but yours makes them tops in the Pacific?

Yes.

Gavrikov>>>>>Graves

Both are second pairing defensive defenseman. Gravrikov may be better but hes not the difference between the team contending for the Pacific and not contending for a wildcard spot. Graves also has better PK stats which is something this team desperately needs.
