The Canucks don't want to trade Boeser if they're willing to give him a fresh, healthy start next season to see what he can do. If they decide on moving him later then hopefully his value will be higher by then too.

If they are looking to trade him this summer, this offer probably wouldn't be worth it because we can dump Myers separately.

Zegras is a 6M/y player, maybe 6.5, 7.5 is an overpayment IMO, thats ppg player territory

Well I don’t see that Canuck trade get any traction. Zero motivation to say the least.

Myers for a retained Silf works (Real $ for cap/skill tradeoff) . But Boeser for a late 2nd was a discussion for earlier in the year... we no longer do that. Would need a legitimate asset or a higher 2nd to part with him.

What changed since earlier in the year? Guy hadn't exactly been lighting the lamp recently and Beauvillier seems to have snagged his spot on the top line.

Forbort has a 3 team NTC, but it is intriguing for Boston.

Earlier in the year when he was scratched it was deemed that he had no place on the team and had fallen out of favor. His play was also blown out of proportion for being worse than it really is.

While he doesn't have his old finishing ability, he is still scoring at a 2nd line rate and appears to be much more versatile than earlier in the year. Essentially we are no longer dangling him as a must-move asset. Since our hand is not forced, we shouldn't have to sell low.
