Given that it only took a 1st 2nd and 3rd to get Cat, I think that 1st, Lappy, and a 2nd would be sufficient given that it was the 7th OA pick

A 2.9 million cap hit for a 2 month tryout =/= a 5.7 million cap hit for a full season. This is capfriendly i shouldnt need to explain that to you

I think he would be a late 1st, he hasnt panned out super well, but he still looks like he could be a player, might be a NHL 2LW/3C on his top end, but still a player

No, trading DeBrincat for futures would be counter-productive

They need two good 2-way forwards, like Nick Paul and Connor Brown for example
