I don't think Reilly is right for SJ right now. I think Grier wants the blue line to be younger next year potentially with Thrun, Knyzhov and Ferraro on the left side next year. Reilly makes sense if we can get rid of Simek and Vlasic.

My guess is Reilly is bought out. Not using a 3rd to save 300k next year. Buyout saves 2.7. Use a a 3rd to save 3m. I’ll take the buyout option.

I agree about Reilly, but the math is off. Buying him out costs an additional $1.33 the following year.

A three year 35+ contract for foligno is not a good idea.

I was only talking about the coming year. By the 2nd year the cap should have gone up enough to lessen the affect of year 2 of the buyout.
