Naaah, we're good. We'd rather have Gibson as our starting goalie for the next 4 seasons than Matt Murray for only the next season.

Gibson is still elite playing on a very bad team. His contract is not bad. Even though Murray is having a bounce back season Gibson is still better, and Murray will never be healthy for entire season, if half of one. ANAs not trading the better more consistent goalie getting paid less then he’s worth for two cap dumps and late round picks. I’m more of a TOR fan and then ANA.

Gibson has been bad now for half his career. His stats are well below replacement level

The team I front of him is directly responsible for that. He’s still an above .900 goalie, still better than Murray and nothing has changed from my previous comments.
