Looking for some depth forwards and D. What would be your asking prices on

-Coleman
-Backlund(50% retained)
- Zadorov

Sadly I feel Tre and Sutter would overvalue those 3 as they all play huge minutes. But realistically Coleman for a 2nd, Backlund @ 50% would probably be a first rounder, or 2nd plus a B prospect, Zadorov for a 2nd and prospect.

Vladar didn't go down in value. Lindholm is worth more. Hanifin is worth more

How about instead of that Canes trade, Lindholm half retained for 2023 first, 2024 first, 2024 2nd, Suzuki, Coghlan?

Coleman without retention would probably be a 2nd and a 3rd only if Calgary really wanted to shed cap
Can't see CGY retaining that amount for Backs but for the sake of argument at 50% this would be a first and a prospect no question
Zadorov is interesting - at the prices so far this year and what he brings to the table I think people would be surprised at the return - could see 2 2nds form a contender!

What does Dan Vladar bring to the table that the Isles couldn't just find for $2.2M in free agency?

Not saying he's terrible or anything, but any goalie they add will be backing up Sorokin. UFAs this summer that would presumably be available in the $2-2.5M AAV range and would be fine being a 1B/backup would be James Reimer, Cam Talbot, Antti Raanta, Kevin Lankinen, & David Rittich, to name a few. Heck, there's a decent shot that Semyon Varlamov decides to stick around at a $2-3M AAV to continue being a solid backup going forward. Point is, I don't see the reason for any team to spend a draft pick or prospect on a backup goalie during the summer.
