Why would Calgary want any of those three players? The Flames have Jakob Markstrom under contract for three more seasons and Daniel Vladar under contract for two more seasons, so why would they want or need Jake Allen? The Flames have Noel Hanifin and Nikita Zadorov at LD, plus MacKenzie Weegar and Oliver Kylington can play both sides, so why would they want or need one more season of Joel Edmundson? Admittedly, Riley Kidney is a very nice prospect, but Connor Zary is a better one and further along in development.

Lol. On Montreal Dvorak isn't a bad contract on teams with depth he's an awful contract. $4.45M is terrible for what would be a 4C on Winnipeg.

There also isn't an A prospect, just a tiny, unwanted C level prospect.

I guess we could go D prospect if you like, I was trying to be generous. A 4th round pick has almost zero chance of playing 200 games or more on the NHL. Statistically only 17 players taken after the 2nd round go on to get those 200 games. So, with Montreal's drafting record, I think we can be certain that Farrell won't be one of the 17 that make it.
