Columbus declines both deals. Holl has negative value for them. Sandin is enticing, but we would like picks back, as they fit our timeline better (and Kallgren isn't really much of anything). Make it Sandin and the 2024 1st and throw in one more middle-rounder (3rd or 4th), and it's a done deal.

Foolish to trade Sandin, especially for a rental that they no longer need.

As much as I'd like to have Sandin in Columbus I think it's not intelligent for Toronto to do that. Holl has also been very useful for them, although over taxed on his ability level. He shouldn't be a 20min TOI guy, but more in the 16-18min TOI.

I truly think Toronto needs to get korpisalo. With everything they have spent on this playoff push, it's too much to expect Woll to hold the fort as backup. Korpisalo has proven playoff success in winning series , and beating teams seen as much better. He's playing lights out since his surgery and has some of the best numbers since new years, it's a no brainer.

Lol that will never happen. Market for Gavrikov has already been impacted because there is a surplus of dmen. Doubt Gavrikov returns even a hard 1st Rd picks. It's most likely a conditional 2nd based on finish and/or a contract extension.

Reminder: you can't condition picks on extensions anymore. And the market for Gav isn't done yet; Edmonton and the Kings are still very much in it, and I've heard rumors that there's at least one more Western Conference team that's got some interest. I think some package that Jarmo sends out gets a 1st.
