Kravstov isn’t worth much of anything, Jones is a 5th dman, that 1st is likely late. Not enough quality. When you make a trade and have to put 6 pieces for one player in return, it’s a quantity trade.

Kravs and Jones are overkill here. Remove them both. That’s a fair offer. It’s the earlier of the 1sts, unless someone outside of playoffs is offering a trade you aren’t getting better. Sykora was a 2nd last draft, a 3rd, Bobby had a good college career and is likely to be NHL ready next season. From what I’ve heard SJ asked NJ for Mercer, nemec and 1st which NJ isn’t doing. It’s funny how last year the talk was that Chytil, Lundkvist and 1st wasn’t enough for JT Miller. “Scraps and late 1st” now here we are

Would love to see that report of that being the ask. A random NJ reporter stated the ask involved Mercer but didn’t offer any other info. Again, not a ton of high end value in this deal.

It was on the radio. Might have been Friedman that said it, can’t recall. NJ seems like the most likely destination. Otherwise I could see a STL/DET being interested in off-season

Nemec was reported as not being touched in this deal, SJS may have asked, but I think NJ wanted no part of that.

This deal has alot of mid level pieces but nothing of value except the pick and thats gonna be a mid 20's pick at best for SJS.

I like sykora and he's the best prospect in our system but he's not an A. I like jones and he's not a B. Jones is currently a bottom pair D, with a small chance of being a middle pair guy with a bigger D partner. He's great offensively but struggles on the defensive side.

The rangers farm system isn't terrible right now but we only have 1 A prospect and 2 B prospects. Those 3 are going to be important in the upcoming cap crunch as Laf/Kakko/Chytil/Miller/Schneider all get paid, until trouba,panarin come off the books.
