Wow. Okay, first of all, Kane will NEVER be in a Blues jersey and he's not needed anyway. Also no need for Raanta, Hofer will move up. No need for these 4th liners, either. The Blues will almost certainly not hand Barby to the Avs. And Bolduc will be a winger in the NHL, not a C, and he's not ready yet anyway. Also, these draft picks are thoroughly meh, and at least one of them should be of top 10 quality (none of them are close). So yeah, this is not at all what will happen.

Barlow is moving up in the rankings, but I am a fan of drafting Oliver Moore if possible. Committed to Minnesota next year and he and Snuggerud could play a year in college together. That said it is way to early to try to predict draft picks

I want them to use their 3rd round picks to move up in the draft and make sure they get two good defenseman in the mid 20's. I would be happy with Yager, Gulyayev and Reinabacher

You seemed to be okay with a first for Barby with retention from PIT, what's the difference with COL?

Big difference. For one thing, I'm betting Pittsburgh's pick ends up being higher, if not even top 15. But overall, the Blues don't deal players like this to rivals without a crazy overpay.

I wouldn't be mad at Moore, but not with our own 1st. That's too high. I want Dvorsky, dammit.

You would know better than I, I'm not going to claim being an expert about another team.

As it stands right now, subject to change obviously, the first round pick from PIT and COL would essentially be the same. If COL was the only team to offer you a first, would you turn it down?

I think the division rival narrative only applies if you're both competitive, which isn't the case this year. Better to get the most for him instead of letting him walk. At least in my opinion.

Yager in the top-10 is a grenade. Wouldn’t touch him until 20.

    Moore>>>>Dvorsky

Pace issues are far too big for Dvorsky to overcome. Would be shocked if he plays above the third line.

The Blues have done well at coaching up skating. Dude has star skills in the O zone with size.

I would seriously dispute that. He really struggles to get off the boards, and isn’t much of a creator.

Hmm. Okay then. Remember, the kid is 17 playing against men. He's not playing against 17-year-olds.

Yes but I think his flaws are gonna be really tricky to overcome. Moore isn’t perfect either, but I like the base a lot more.

It matters not, because we're going to win the 2nd pick in the lottery. So we'll just take Fantilli. cool

Moore or Reinbacher if pick is 6-10 I think make the most sense. Benson will probably be available too but who knows if the Blues would do it. Gimme one of Musty, Danieson, or Sawchyn and one of Molendyk or Simashev with the other two picks and I'm thrilled. Maybe use Barbashevs return to move up too. Maybe even more assets if Parayko moves too… Swimming in draft picks.

Reinbacher will not be in the top 10 imo, closer to 15. Benson is ok, but small

I would prefer the forwards, but Reinbacher is legit. Benson is outstanding, I would be thrilled with him.
