Couture and Braun don't make this a team that can do damage in the playoffs, if they even make this a team capable of getting in as a WC2. We should stand pat or sell, get rid of Hynes, force Poile to retire, and start fresh.

I would take that for couture. People will always dog on him but he’s a solid two way center, and a massively successful playoff performer

This just kind of seems like a lateral move for Nashville though unless San Jose eats $2 mil a season to really open up cap space for say like a Tyler Bertuzzi in the offseason.
