What has Monahan done exactly to justify that return? I mean he was a cap dump, played 25 games ok, and then promptly missed 26 games and counting. That’s a ridiculous price until the guy actually does you know something.

Montreal only takes that deal if there is a condition where the pick pugrades to a 2023 1st if the Avs making it out of the first round and Monahan plays at least 50% of the Avs remaining games

The original trade wouldn't happen from the Avs PoV so sure as hell you wouldn't be getting those conditions.
