Not if the player that replaces him in the lineup is Chychrun who can also play on the PK. Anyway, Lindholm should be able to play top PK minutes alongside Carlo and Clifton can play on the second one with McAvoy. All four are good/great PK defensemen, the forwards and goaltending is strong and so is the structure. They would still be a top5 PK team without Forbort. Also, they would improve at 5v5.

During the 2020-21 season, they had 13 defensemen due to Carlo, Lauzon, Miller's injuries and yet the PK ranked second in the league. The personal is better now. I really think they would be fine.

Acciari and Chychrun/Bjugstad at the deadline is the move.

Chychrun makes a lot of sense both short-term and in the future: He is an upgrade to Grzcelyk now and its highly unlikely Grz will stick around after this season due to the cap crunch. Chychrun has term and is at a great contract value.
