The 2024 2nd and Chibrikov probably get one or the other, certainly not both. The rest of those assets would be of little interest to the Hawks.

Sorry, but Vasalainen doesn't move the needle for the Hawks. Who knows if he even returns to North America. Fair value in this deal would be a '23 and '24 2nd + a prospect like Chibrikov. Without a '23 2nd, it would be an unconditional '23 1st along w/ Chibrikov or say a 2024 3rd to make this happen in my opinion

Those two as rental for the playoff would be sick! But I don't think they have the cap space to pull it off.

If Toews says it's WPG or bust, then I imagine it'll play out like MAF to the Wild. It'll be a 2nd rounder with conditions to a 1st. Since centers are more valuable at the TDL, I imagine those conditions would be a bit easier than MAF's conditions. But I haven't heard that yet. Just people connecting dots that he wants to go back to WPG. Domi without retention and I'm thinking a 3rd. Domi with retention is really an unknown. You can only have (3) retention slots and Toews/Kane are getting two of them. Wherever Kyle Davidson can maximize his last retention slot of what he should do.

Okay so here's what I was was thinking 2nd in 2024 (upgrades if wpg makes wcf and toews and domi play 50% of the games) chibrikov 2024 3rd ajf and Harkins

Basically 3rd and ajf for domi
2nd (conditional) chibrikov and Harkins for toews (50%) and then trade stanley and some other asset for more retention on toews or domi

How about this:

Domi w/ no retention = 3rd and AJF

Toews w/ retention = 2nd and Rashevsky
*2nd upgrades to a 2023 1st if WPG makes the WCF and Toews plays in 75% of the games.

Not sure if Harkins is a cap dump or not, but if you want to add him too, I don't think CHI would object.

That works too chibrikov has more upside imo rashevsky is 22 chibrikov is 19 so it's hard to compare them

I made a new agm with that trade and I really like the idea of that kinda trade benefits both teams and with the other moves really rounds out the deadline for the jets
