Why?

High pick, young roster player, prospect, cap dump, depth pick

I don't think there's a Meier trade you like or will like. Every proposal made you shut down without actually offering any kind of constructive feedback. You just dismiss it. If Meier doesn't want to re-sign then SJ really doesn't have any kind of high ground. Hold onto him all you want but in a year from now he's a rental and you'll get a limited return.

The constructive feedback is all over the site. Offer quality and not quantity, top prospect and a first, not a bunch of stuff with some value.

And top prospect doesnt mean your 8th best prospect that has an outside chance at being a bottom sixer

is floridas first not a first? Harris is a former 2nd round pick playing above where he was drafted and has look very dependable in his first nhl season, Riley Kidney has offensive upside and its not a bad additional piece to the offer and theres an additional second to take armia's cap hit.

All the prospects have “some upside” you don’t trade Timo Meier for that. Every shark fan response says quality over quantity. Zero teams on this site have offered their top 3 even top 5 prospects in their system because they are “untouchable”. There needs to be quality in a trade and preferably not a multi year cap dump included. Don’t make bad trade and I won’t complain

No it isn’t. 1st are close, raty is better than those prospects by a bit and Beauvillier is much better than Armia

they are seperate by a point in the standings, florida and islanders, florida is actually behind them....so confused you think those firsts arent equal especially since Florida's isnt protected. debatable whose better between raty and harris kidney is in addition so that adds to the value armia is a offset by the additional second. oh and theres the slight difference that Horvat is worth more than Meier. But i'm sure you right sharks only want picks from certain teams who cares where the pick is in the draft order lol.
The point i was making was that this offer is not filled with ridiculous pieces its fine if you dont fully know harris' worth but if you are blantly going to say that draft picks that are currently side by side arent worth the same then clearly youre not basing anything off of facts.
