If trades are made probably two at the most to add to the defense and maybe forward depth.
If Schenn could had for only a low prospect and a fifth as in this trade https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/3891736 that would be amazing.
Getting a pick and Martinez for Bryson would certainly be a "Jason Karmanos" deal.
Unlikely Bjugstad would be available for only a 7th, but if he was he would be a good target as well.

If they make a move, I suspect it will be a name no one has considered but who fits the age / cap / style of play / character model that Adams and Granato always emphasize - someone like Fabbro from Nashville (RHD, 24 yrs old, mobile skater, $2.4M RFA), Fleury from Tampa (LHD, 26 yrs old, mobile skater with size, $762K with term) or possibly Foote from Tampa (RHD, 24 yrs old, decent skater with size, $850K RFA). I do not think they will add any forwards (other than possibly a depth swap of Asplund for another role player) because they like their top 12 and they seem very confident and comfortable, short-term and long-term with the top 4 of Dahlin-Samuelsson-Power-Jokiharju so the most likely target for improvement would be on the 3rd pairing. Since they committed to Lyubushkin for another year and need his physical style, that probably means Bryson would be the spot they'd swap out for more size and defensive ability IMO. Fleury would be a low-risk, high-reward type to replace Bryson without disrupting the chemistry or cap or losing high picks. If they took on a cap dump along with Fleury to help Tampa's issues, they may only have to give up a 3rd or 4th rounder at worst.
