My point is if you don't look at their contract, Anderson would be taken by everyone without hesitation

It's a salary cap league. So this is irrelevant.

this is such a delightful mess of bad choices

-asking the Habs to retain nearly $14M in cap over the next 5 seasons

-giving up a 1st and your best RHD prospect for the right to have Josh Anderson through his age-33 season (players whose calling card is their physical gifts always age really gracefully, right?)

-giving up Timothy Liljegren & a 2nd rounder to get Luke Schenn

-making Luke Schenn a top pair D

i literally can't pick which is my favorite part

But why would gms take a player that even you admit is worse? That doesn't make sense at all

If that was true then why does Järnkrok have significantly more playoff success than anderson?

Because it’s a team sport
Carey Price have one Stanley Cup appearance in his career and he’s a great goalie

Damn, these goal posts could win the 100 meter dash.
You cant just change your point every time its challenged.
First anderson was better, then anderson would be taken by more gms, then its you win more with anderson types, then it's a 'team sport' so obviously he's not to blame and somehow that makes jarnkrok a bad choices. There are corners and there is what youve backed yourself into. Just admit you like the player more and thats that, because you're not gonna win this one

Yikes, anderson is a 30 point player who couldnt pass an open book test on defence and schenn isnt even 1/3 as good as liljegren.
Im half convinced this is a troll post

i guess you dont read the news. Teams are offering 1st round picks for him and Hughes is rejected it. Its gonna cost this much for Anderson without retension

What a hilarious cherry picking attempt for a guy who is tied for 288th in points. Also that's not what ironic is.
He has the same amount of points as pierre engvall while playing 3 more mins a game and power play time. That's pretty darned bad for someone who cant skate in anything but a straight line or play defence

Anderson would instantly be the leafs 5th best forward. Maybe 4th. Tavares isn't good anymore he can only get tip ins and rebounds

Trying to put Anderson in the conversation of the top 4 on TOR is just a brutal troll job. JT has been lights out, he just isn't flashy.
