again a top prospect hasnt been traded in a rental deal in a long, long time. Also Kuzmenko has such a short history, he wouldnt even carry that value.

He’s not getting Morrow and a 1st. He’ll get a first and maybe another asset but won’t be of Morrow’s status. His stats are good but the most valuable thing about him is that every contender can afford his cap hit. It should drive his price up but not high end prospect and 1st. Drop the prospect to someone of lesser value and it’s closer.

Reread my post again. Teams don’t trade a top prospect and a 1st. I mean nhl rated prospect not a team’s (cuz some have some crappy pools). And No Chariot wasn’t worth it. Zito had a bad trade deadline. Really bad

Bad ones who already have bad contracts issues. Also ones who know that the player’s pace is grossly unsustainable. So as they say, sell high
