Probably a no from Calgary, might get forced into a deal next year but makes more sense to waive Kylington IMO.

The team decided he is not, they extend Vladar for a reason
Having depth is good as well
Maybe they think he is NHL ready but they want depth

I would say there is actually quite a decent chance Calgary does that actually. If Anything the extension raises his trade value. Wolf is pretty close to NHL ready as a back up at this point

I'd rather have Sokolov over Kase. Kase is good, but has a bad history with injuries and Sokolov has been doing well in Belleville.
