They aren’t going to have room for him unless he just undoubtedly is on the 3rd line next season. Kravs is still kicking around. Make it Cuylle then. Now maybe will all the big names out there we could get him cheaper for say a 2nd, cuylle/sykora, 3rd/prospect. But that’s assuming there isn’t demand for rentals

I think Bertuzzi's 2nd hit by puck injury means he will be in Detroit for at least another season. His trade value is at a low point and he certainly isn't getting the big payday he expected coming into the season.

If you were going to sign a 1 year deal to try and earn a big contract are you gonna take 1 year in Detroit or go somewhere else maybe take a bit less but be in a better spot to maximize yourself.

Hájek has no value at all to Detroit. Grubbe is interesting but you need to make it a 1st in '23 and a 2nd in '24 in order to get Yzerman to bite. Detroit should have no problems resigning Bert if offers aren't good enough.
