Description

I feel the Bruins could be better served getting even better/deeper defensively than going after a high end forward. We all know come playoff time that championship teams go 8-10 defensemen deep sometimes due to the grind. The expensive dcorp can be resolved at the draft by trading Grzelcyk and re-coup some draft picks.

Have to think ARI will get better offers. Higher 1st round pick and better prospects. Don't think BOS has the means to make a trade for a high end player unless they throw in a bunch of 1st round picks.

I think Lohrei is a very good prospect. Big body that skates extremely well. Would be a very nice piece for a re-building club.

Lindholm was a first and 2 seconds. This is comparable. Chychrun has been on the block for almost a year and no one has stepped up. Coyotes might be over playing their hand.

Agreed and Lindholm the better dman. The only thing Chychrun has better than Lindholm at time of the deal is a nice contract for the next 2 years after this one.

Whoa hold up... skates extremely well??? Where did you get that idea? His skating is easily below average by NHL standards. This is a very common remark when prospect gurus write about him.

If BOS trades for Chych, Gryz should be going back. No point holding onto him too.

Also, like others have said, ARZ is holding onto Chych until a homerun offer comes by. This isn't the homerun offer they are looking for.
