Description

* While I imagine most everyone using this site knows this, if you haven't heard, if the PA goes to the league, they can work out a compromise to the cap that raises it more than $1M but less than $3M.

* By no means am I saying that's what Okposo's worth. He's at the stage of his career where he's made tons of money, and would take less (a la Corey Perry) for a chance to win.

If Okposo really wants to win, he likely has a better shot in the long run at winning with the Sabres than winning with the Leafs. And he was just named the Sabres captain, he isn’t going anywhere.

Okposo has a better chance next year with Buffalo than Toronto? Come on now, Buffalo needs a #1 goalie and then has to make the playoffs first before that could be a thought. You'd have been better off to say that KO could go to TB, Colorado, etc.

Somehow Bettman (the owners) & pa conspire to make the stupidest decisions so doubtful they can come together for the good of the game. This artificial cap is killing the league but neither side will budge because rather than just dealing with that one issue they’ll try to force through other unrelated items (at each other’s expense) and end up nowhere.

Maybe they can create revenue by making another 5 different jerseys for each team. The game against the flyers the leafs jerseys which l heard they weren't wearing anymore are pure crap. You might as well used invisible ink for the numbers.
