Absolutely NOT willing to move 2 picks for a guy currently questioning if he belongs in the NHL..... his market value after that interview is non-existent.

The usual poor roster management.....trading a 20m a night RHD Holl and not getting a Dman back in a trade.
PJ is a nothing to Leafs. So if effect the Leafs trade, a first, second, third and fifth, Holl, Engvall and Knies for a Kane rental. Horrid for the Leafs.

I can't see the Leafs making that offer for Kaner, but if they do and Kaner waives for Toronto, Hawks accept

Why not wait for the offseason and get Kane as a UFA instead of trading our current top RHD in Holl, a top PK role player in Engvall, a possible future power fwd who at the very least will be a bottom 6 player and future picks. Also JP has value to the Leafs but it would be as a bottom 6 guy, the Leafs would probably see him as an upgrade on a player like dennis Malgin, as he might fit better in the bottom 6 than Malgin. I would also think that EDM obviously values JP more than a player like Malgin. Also there are players all over the league with JPs current value. Hell why not make none of these trades and put Knies in the lineup who gives the leafs similar skills as JP does.

A 3rd round pick is virtually worthless.

Ya, who needs a superstar forward with multiple cups for a bunch of nothing, plus engvall.

Holl is bad. Simply bad. He's a cap dump here. Hollowell is better than him. So is mete.

JP has upside other players don't. He's excellent defensively, leads the team in hits, and if he ever remembers how to score will be a great 2 way forward.

I don't care. Would you move a 3rd for a guy that may go back to Europe next year?

Sooner take the risk of drafting a player with an 8% chance of making it that that.

And he could thrive in a new spot and become a legit top line winger.

Sure he COULD. But let a rebuiding team take in that risk. For a win-now team..... hells to the no.

A no downside trade with huge upside? And no cost? Seems exactly what a win now team should be doing. Worst case scenario plays on a defensive 3rd line. He's excellent defensively.

Then why are you moving him? Defense seems to be an issue in Edmonton right now.

Go check out his recent interviews and those with the coach. He needs a change.

I am.l paraphrasing, but something about wanting to a top line platter and not sure if that is in the NHL? Those interviews?

Keep putting lipstick on the pig. Still a pig.

Not moving a 3rd or 5th.

Ya, all that playoff success means the Leafs shouldn't pay a meaningless amount for a high reward no risk player. Who needs to gamble when win so much.

The Leafs won't pay any amount.

What part of this isn't clear?

His confidemce is shot. He is thinking of going back to Europe.

Giving the Oilers a pair of picks because they know this too is lunacy.

Soooooooo many other options.......

I didn't realize you're Kyle Dubas' burner account.

Note how you won't answer any actual points. You just assume you're right.

Adios. #IgnoreList
