Buffalo should really only be upgrading their 3rd line with more defensive energy/grinder types with some offensive flair. Bennett is fine, but thats never going to happen. Maybe someone like Jason Dickenson would work well in there with Asplund and Hino

Or from the Sabres view, knowing that this season isn't a player season. Don't make the trades, have 15m in cap (by not acquiring those players), spend that 15 on two good UFAs, and keep the first, second and two thirds. The players that the Sabres traded could be given away or not resigned.
