Description
IR was just my OCD trying to get the cap over the floor. These are also some 22-year-olds who have played enough to earn a second contract before 22 as well.

Also, no bias related with the Sabres players. They deserve to be there, right where i put them maybe higher, and together...they have been one of the best lines in generating offense in the whole league since being put together.

Gotcha. In that case, looks solid to me. I’d probably try to get Lundell in there somewhere.

You said the Buffalo players should be "right where [you] put them maybe higher" but to me it seems like the 4th line is better overall than the 3rd if you want to keep them together. They probably also have higher ceilings being former top 5 picks and have more experience.

I think you added the wrong Dach, Kirby has 18 points in 24 games. He is also only 21 and just as good as Peterka. Also Guhle is 8th in points among Defensemen 22 and under in points as a rookie, how doesn't he make the list? Also Xhekaj is leading all rookie D men in goals on the season. Left D should be, Dahlin-Sanderson-Power-Guhle RD is Dobson-Addison-Seider-Lundkvist. I see what you did though, you had to make sure that certain Sabres made the list so you shifted players to positions they don't normally play to accommodate that goal, for instance Zegras is a Center, Caufield is our top LW, You left of Dach, Xhekaj and Guhle on purpose. So after all of this, the actual list should be

Forwards

Svechnikov-Hughes-Boldly
Caufield-Stutzle-Dach
Maccelli-Cozens-Kaliyev
Farabee-Zegras-Raymond

Extras
Quinn-Beniers-Peterka

Defense

Dahlin-Dobson
Sanderson-Addison
Powers-Seider

Extras
Guhle-Lundkvist

Goalies

Schmid
Knight

Power is better than Sanderson, but I won't debate that one. Also, I think you should check out Dahlin he has pretty much only played RD this league, so I didn't shift positions to fit Sabres players, dude.

I switched Z and Caufield to those positions because that's what they used to play, or maybe the wings are on the other side. Go back and check their minor stats together!

Put that Sabres line together because they are dominant, and Cozens is a top 7 player right now at 5v5, top 10 for scoring ever since those lines have been put together, tied for 4th behind Skinner, McDavid, and Robertson.

I tried to get Lundell in there but I didn't want to break up the Sabres line lol. I was considering replacing Dach, but i couldn't do it lol.

idk, its close but the Sabres line is already a top line in the NHL at creating offense. Cozens has the highest ceiling of the players in the bottom 6, he has the potential to be a elite #1 center on both ends of the ice. Has shown that ability in the last couple games while centering and leading the youngest line in the NHL.

Beniers also has the potential to be a #1 elite center, not sure if he's a 200ft player too but yeah. You got to take into account that young line in Buffalo is the 3rd line aside from Cozens is probably not seen as a threat this year, next year or later on they will be on other teams radars if they keep it up. It's probably why Raymond isn't doing as well this year as the last, and why a lot of players have sophomore slumps.

You are right I should have checked where Dahlin played but did you ever stop to think maybe that is one of the reasons that the Sabre's can't get any traction? Having Dahlin or any young D man play their off-side usually doesn't work out too well. Why not line up with your 2 best D on the same pairing (Dahlin-Jokiharju) then mix and match from there. As for Caufield and Zegras they are playing LW and C in the NHL so why revert to what they were playing in previous leagues? Also, the Caufield-Suzuki-Dach line has 66 points compared to the Quinn-Cozens-Peterka lines 54, and if you want to talk even strength points the Habs top line had 45 ESP while the Sabre's trio has 37.
