Vanilla ice cream cone, and the action figure MUST already be opened. The packaging makes Marty mad when he tries too open them

Looks like we have ourselves a deal. Vanilla ice cream cone and it will be opened and slightly used as a little extra bonus.

Marty sends his regards, and would like to know if you would like to play with the action figure while watching his highlights of the 2012-13 season

I hesitate between the one where you get a 1st for a player who can't step it up in the OHL, or the one where you get Kakko for a mid round pick when MTL just paid a 13OA for Dach.

The part where you compare Stillman to Wilson is also a good one. Wilson is only 3 inch taller and 40lbs heavier and the best power forward in the league, but ok.

Well, Chase Stillman is the next Tom Wilson, so obviously that’s why.

As for Kaako, im stating another time that I would gladly give up more for the guy. The Dach trade is a pretty bad comparison though, since Lou is senile and Dach is not going to be anywhere near as useful in the NHL as Frank Nazar

Stillman is stalling in the OHL right now. He should be on a better pace than last year, showing improvement. He's not.

Dach is a PPG player since he started playing with Caufield and Suzuki. The only way Nazar is better is if he becomes a 1C, which i highly doubt.

Why would the comparison be bad? Dach was 3rd OA and Kakko 2nd OA, both in 2019. Both underperformed in their first 3 years. Both still have huge potential.

Lou has nothing to do with this. He traded 13OA for Romanov. MTL then traded 13OA and a 3rd for Dach, establishing Dach value as a 13OA pick and a 3rd.

Chicago wanted a top 10 pick for Dach, they got a 13OA and a 3rd. Why would NY accept a mid round pick for Kakko?

Your analysis clearly favors Montreal, and you obviously know only 3 things about hockey. Please stick to speed skating.

What's the difference between Dach and Kakko in term of trade value? Why would NY accept less than what CHI got for Dach?

Why would Lou giving a 13OA for Romanov have anything to do with Dach value? Why did you even bring Lou into this?

If you can't answer those, i think it'll prove you're the one who doesn't know anything about hockey.

For the same reason Montreal should try and trade for Chase Stillman. Because he’s the next Tom Wilson!!! Cricket bat crack right there!!!

That does not get you Kakko. That would be like me saying Blais for Bratt is fair. You are so way off value wise... this is not a trade.

Normally I'd agree with you, but like others have alluded to already, this is the same GM that traded Buch for a 2nd and a 4th liner.
I could see Drury trading KK for OP's suggested return.

Yeah sure, fair. But wouldn't do potential bad deals division rival. And it doesn't take many phone calls to get more return. Question is how likely do yourself view this trade to be?

Rangers trading their former 2nd overall pick to the Devils?
About as likely as the sun rising in the west and setting in the east.

Blais was traded to the Rangers for a player who is about as impactful as Bratt.

And I’ve already mentioned that I personally value Kaako a lot higher than this and would pay the higher price.

If it didn’t take much to get a higher return, he would’ve been offer sheeted at a higher AAV this summer, or traded at the draft

Well yes I got that, I did read the description. And yes NYR isn't immune to make bad trades, but they won't sell him at that price. And since NJD is NJD you can trust that the price is double that. Because of the rivalry.

They make bad trades consistently though. It’s not a flash in the pan, it’s a Chris Drury staple to be fleeced more often than not.

And division rivals paying as much as double a price for the sake ofba rivalry is blown way out proportion imo. There isn’t a lot out there to suggest those massive asks in value among division rivals even exists

In division trades are a lot more frequent than you’re saying though. New Jersey traded with two division rivals over the summer. The Leafs traded for Matt Murray from a rival. Tony DeAngelo moved in division. Plus random depth moves between division rivals as well.

There’s about as good of a chance of the trade partner being a rival than there of any of the other 31 teams in the league

2018. Have the Rangers made more than one deal with all 31 teams since then or something that would give that time lapse some meaning?

Kakko couldn't look Hughes in his eyes at the draft. Was so weird.

Walsh will get his NHL chance...will probably be scooped up by team that values analytics as his fancy stats are in his favor. Not sure if VAN would be it.

Stillman has looked great since Othmann arrived. Now on Robertson-Othmann-Stillman line. Would be awesome if we could salvage something there.
