Canucks would have to add a 3rd at least to make it work, and that's if Edmonton likes Myers & Pearson. Pearson = Puljujarvi but Puljujarvi is higher upside, Barrie > Myers and the money is very Vancouver favoured here.

Thats worse for the Oilers from a cap standpoint and Foegele plays PK, probably still a no. I'm a Canucks fan as well though so maybe an Oilers fan will come around and counter offer

Pearson doesn't equal Pulli, he's a 30 year old bottom 6 plug making over 3 million. Pulli has his warts but does have a lot of good qualities as well. Pearson did some stuff back in the day. Myers is a 3rd pair defender who's only skill is he's big, making 6 million. He has absolutely negative value, although Holland is a bad GM so maybe he makes a trade to get Myers if they retain to equal what Barrie makes. Its so so bad for Edmonton but I'll give it to you, if anyone would make the move, Holland is a guy I wouldn't put it past.

Regardless of the value of the trades, does that leave a team that will lose hard enough? Tough competition for the toilet bowl this year.
