As an innocent bystander, that Chabot trade is intergalactically awful, right down to acquiring Severson just to play him on his off-side. If Alex Romanov's entire career cost the Islanders the 13th overall pick, don't you think that you could get only one season of Severson for less?

Ideally, I wouldn't trade Nylander. But Bath at under 3M for 5 years is insane value.
