Description

Letting Horvat go would be a tough pill (especially letting him walk for nothing in free agency). But if some of the younger centers like Karlsson, McDonough, Aman, etc. grow their games enough over the 2022/23 season then maybe the team uses the remaining cap space to improve the D and bring back Kuzmenko on a shorter deal.

Petey and Miller are being deployed as two 'top lines', so the depth chart here doesn't really reflect his usage.

Weegar just got 8 x $6.25 million. I would Severson at 7 x $6 million would be consistent with market.

Another good comp is Justin Faulk’s 7 x $6.5 million.
