Cause to your point, he ain't gonna be happy with a trade to a team that's just going to offer him what DAL is offering him. JRob would be fantastic, but I don't think he is the difference in turning CBJ into a competitor, particularly if we're going to hand him the kind of long-term money he wants; and if I'm making a trade to ship out my top kids, it's for a trade that'll do that.

For CBJ, that'd need to be for a bona-fide 1C or something.

I’d love to see what him and Stank could do together in the NHL, but don’t expect either side to be giving up either any time soon

If a trade between these two teams were to going to happen, and Jarmo could clear enough cap space for true number one center salary next year, I would expect Jarmo to go after Roope Hintz before trying on Robertson.
