I posted this before but I’m adding some rumored trades/moves
- Apparently Hunter wanted to draft Robert Thomas but the leafs fought for lijlegren so let’s say they draft Thomas instead. Then this year they let Kadri walk and resign Thomas to play 2nd line C

-2020 NHL draft we draft Schneider over Amirov which I thought we were going to do because the team had issues on defense but Dubas went off the board with the Amirov pick. This has nothing to do with his health issues I was shocked like some that Schneider wasn’t drafted at that spot

- The rumored Fleury trade from Chicago was Fleury half retained and Hagel for Mrazek, Knies, other prospects/1st round picks. If we didn’t sign Mrazek meaning we didn’t have to dump Mrazek the cost wouldn’t have been as high. Tampa send 2 1st rounders, Katchouk and Raddysh for Hagel. Now with Fleury half retained we could combine the Tampa trade and wild trades. So 2023 1st, 2024 1st, Grundstrom, Robertson, and our 2022 1st (we didn’t have a 2nd) and they send back a 3rd (fleury trade was for a 2nd)

- The rumor that we were in on Pietrangelo, we sign him in 2020 instead of Brodie

This team is tight against the cap next season with Robert Thomas’ extension kicking in, so Samsonov unqualified (replace with Woll or Kallgren), Engvall and Bunting walks (Hagel takes his place and Knies takes hagel’s place), Holl walks, Simmonds walks, try to resign Trevor Moore
