VAN declines, Garland is way more valuable than that. If Bear can be had for a 3rd then I think VAN accepts.

As much as I love Garland, I can’t see the Canes moving Fast. He is absolutely beloved by the franchise and in the locker room. You just don’t trade guys like that.

Even as an outsider I recognize how much of a match made Fast and the Canes have been, but Carolina would be fools to pass on this if it was offered

Canes can't make the cap work, even with 500k retained. Doesn't work. Plus, DiPietro is like goalie number 4 on the depth chart

I think it would be the other way around tbh, as much as I love Fast, upgrading from Fast to Garland would be a no brainer imo. Only thing is idk how the cap would work out.
