Severson starts with a first rounder this year, and Formenton isn't a piece that teams are gonna be so interested in

I keep hearing from OTT Fans that they have the greatest D Depth in the League. That between Brannstrom, Sanderson, Thomson and Bernard-Docker, OTT has absolutely no need for help on Defense, especially at RD; the only exceptions being Chychrun or Weegar

And yes, until the Hockey Canada issue is resolved, Teams will be very leery about considering Alex Formenton and I believe Drake Batherson was part of that Team as well, both being players who have not come out to say they were not involved in the incident. Idk who these fans are but the vast vast majority of fans recognize we need a top 4 right handed dman. Branny has a ton of potential but he's a leftie. Thomson and JBD have top 4 potential and looked great at the NHL level, but they aren't there quite yet. Could easily see one win a spot in training camp. Weegar is a local player so I could see him signing with us next season

Pretty sure CGY will be locking Weegar up for $6.5mil x 7-8 years prior to Training Camp, otherwise Severson & Dumba are decent targets and Free Agents PK Subban & Anton Stralman are still available

Lassi is a 2019 draftee and is the best of the three right now, esp relative to age imo.
JBD and Lundkvist are much of the same. One is smaller and more offensive, the other more stay at home. A swap doesn't make much sense.
