Sandin for Muzzin is a bad trade for Toronto. And Kerfoot has a ten-team no-trade list; I'd lay 100-to-1 odds that Arizona is on it.

Defensemen are worth more than forwards Every-time, Sandin played Top 4 minutes whilst Muzz was hurt & fit into it like a glove, Kerfoot only makes 750k in real money which is lower than league minimum contract so it’s appealing to the Broke Hounds in the Dessert

But do those broke hounds want to win? Feel like you ship kerfoot (if that is the way the Leafs decide to go) somewhere else to a team that still wants to compete like WPG (if they are not on his NTC) or Ducks (who would sell him at the deadline for picks if they don't surprise this year)

Hayton barely outscored Sandin last year and he is a forward. He isn’t worth more than Sandin.

Of course they Don’t if you are Arizona with that line-up you aren’t winning many games just the margin would be a little better instead of 6-2 it’ll be 3-1, probably upgrades Chychruns defensive stats too which makes him even more appealing to trade

Hayton although didn't produce horribly last season just hasn't been all that impressive.

I wouldn’t say defenseman are always worth more than defenseman, but I get your point here. That being said Sandin is worth way more than Hayton imo.

Still feel like team situation should play a role when talking on points a player scored. I would say maybe they are even in value but not Sandin >> Hayton
