Zacha is LW3 even with marchand gone wouldn't be surprised if Line 1 was Debrusk-Bergy- Lysell/ Stud/Mclaughlin, RW or LW1 is their for a limited time so might aswell develop chemistry on the 2nd+3rd line and put whoever doesn't fit currently or needs to prove something player with bergy for him to carry and groom him into a potential starting spot

Interesting comparison. Unfortunately there's just too much fluctuation to nail down exactly who each team's 3rd line is, and it changes nightly anyhow. For instance, Edmonton's 3rd line could end up being Hyman - Nugent-Hopkins - Bourgault or something like that; and that's probably the top unit in the league.

I'd be very hesitant to include bourgault in any thoughts of this year since Holland has shown to promote in part by time put in. Seeing as Holloway,Benson,Lavoie,Samorukov, Niemelainen,Broberg are all hunting for a job and in a few of those cases time is running out on a final decision that's already a significant amount of inexperienced players trying to get a good feel for while also trying to be as competitive as possible.

First, RW is wide open right now. Second, Holland didn't hesitate to put Larkin in the NHL at 19. When they're ready, they're ready. Not saying Bourgault is ready necessarily, but with nobody standing in his way I could see him making the team out of camp (he just about did last year) or coming up at Christmas like Yamamoto did.

That's fair. I see it alot like yamo not going to give much to him until somewhat confident when called upon he will be ready to stick with the team not bounce up and down.

Even though Foligno will not see any top 9 time and won’t be on that third line, the Bruins third line, whether with Frederic or Zacha or whoever is way too low. Coyle will never put up amazing point totals, but he’s an excellent player driver and is great defensively. He lead that third line last year and it was pretty solid most of the year especially as a shutdown line. But even besides that, Coyle puts up decent offense and there’s also Smith who can put up 15-20 goals
