Josi out of the top 5 is unacceptable imo. But it does show how truly tight that top 6 is because (imo Carlson ain’t there in my top 10 either) the following 4 are clearly not going be ranked any higher than said top 6.

Josi's defense is significantly worse than everyone in my top 5. His offense is top tier though so I guess it depends on how you weigh offense vs defense
If this was a tier list id have Makar 1 then Hedman, McAvoy, Fox, Ekblad, Josi all in the next tier, theyre all close enough that any of them could be better than another on any given night

The points went up because he stopped caring about the defensive side of the game. I think he’s pretty accurately marked here.
To the OP: John Carlson doesn’t belong in the top 50, let alone the top 10. Okay that might be hyperbolic, but i don’t think he would even come to mind in a top 30 list.
Dude the guy literally stopped playing defense. Ya, he racked up a ton of points, but how much did that help?
"Literally stopped playing defense". LMAO, listen to yourself. He's one of the very best hockey players at his position. Sorry he doesn't do his job the way you want him to.

He didn’t do his job the way that helps teams win games.
