He isn't. He is bigger but thats about it. If Chych could get through an 82 game season, he would be easily better. Girard only lost his iron man streak because of that thing that went around.

Toews was acquired for two seconds. If u want the next Toews might I suggest Oliver Klyington? Not saying he’s that good, but I really like him whenever I watch him play.

Cogliano said he wasn't selling out for a basement SJ team. Then he comes to COL and lays it all on the line; he looked likr a completely different player.

I've been thoroughly impressed with JC's skillset; it is truly elite level. I feel like he'd perform at his best and stay in the lineup on a contender.

COL has the best defense in the league, why would they waste a massive amount of resources for a negligible improvement. This is truly awful, give up your 3/4 dman and 2 firsts for a guy that is your 3/4 dman and who in all honesty might not even be on par with Byram on top of that it cleans them out of 3 consecutive drafts.

That’s just patently false, MacKinnon is one of the fastest and very possibly the most explosive skater in the league. Makar is very possibly the fastest dman and even he isn’t straight line speed with MacKinnon.

last time they played JC was shadowing him and kept up stride for stride. He's an elite skater no doubt about it.

I don't see how this connects. Cogs played like his former self when he joined the Avs. He didnt all of a sudden reinvent his game. If what you said is right, you're basically saying JC takes 20-30 games off a season because he doesnt like the yotes chances? If that's his character, Avs should stay clear.
