First off, I find it interesting that he hasn't re-signed yet - you'd have thought this would have been pretty easy to get done after a Cup win but it clearly is not that simple. They need to get the deal done before the season starts; not having it done by then could spell trouble. That being said, I am of the mind that he ends up in the $10.5-11.5M range. People like Nate are not satisfied winning once - they want to win every year and he knows he can't take much more than that and still play on a competitive team for at least the next few years until the cap goes up. He'll be content at $11.29Mx8; making $13M will mean nothing to him if it means they can't sign a good 3C or have to salary-dump an important player.
