Not a chance. Granlund is younger, cheaper and better than Stepan. 21st OA doesn't help us now or really anytime in next 2-4 years unless he is a diamond in the rough. Instead of 21st OA, Skjei gets the Wild to answer the phone. Also Granlund played the entire year on the wing. Don't expect him to go in to a 1st line C role.

I do think Step or Nash is traded, but probably not both. I also would think that Stepan is the likely candidate, and he goes for a top pair RHD. In this instance, since they're mentioning wanting Nino gone, (if a Granlund for Step kind of deal occurs) Minny adds Nino and Rangers add Miller.

If the Wild are getting a center from NYR I'd want Zibby.

Stepan to the Wild talk should have died when they signed Staal last summer. Staaa with his 65p, and Koivu with his Selke nomination, should be the final nails in the coffin for Stepan trade rumors. Unless a bunch of salary is being retained Stepan is a really expensive 3C for Minny.
