I just see Miller as a great fit & Canes D is already good & can aborb trading good prospects. Getting a stud like Miller who can score & is elite fits in seamlessly. Canes are a real serious force & he’d put them over the top. KK at 3C is best & Necas plays where told or bump KK. Patches coming back later is a bonus. Worry about Miller resigning after winning the Cup.

Miller on the Canes is awesome, but not realistic. Nothing about the situation matches the long pattern of management decisions regarding asset management and contract extensions for aging players.

Just keep Miller. Canes don’t want him and don’t need him. Canes aren’t going to give up what Vancouver is looking for in a Miller return. Now, are you going to keep making these trades that go against everything the Canes FO has historically done or are you going to learn and stop?

So I just stopped by here out of curiosity because, well it's like Groundhog Day in here, but let me offer this up. Canes are looking at a number of options to fill in for Max while he is out. Now I wouldn't rule out Miller, but since it would be more than likely a rental situation, they would choose an option that had best value without too many assets going out the door. Where Kane is an excellent choice, they would need double retention for him. That's more assets. Miller just 50% with Vancouver. And they can just wait until the deadline. True. Will still get a decent take if they move him. But given the opportunity here and now, what's a realistic ask for Miller at 50% retained, just to see what that option would really look like.
