Monahan if he doesn;t come back effectuively is a 6.3mil cap dump. So really it probably cost that late in the round 1st rounder just to dump expiring UFA Monahan. So its a meh prospect for Atkinson?

could be a really solid 3c, its also his last contract year. So if he doesn't improve you just sign him to a cheap deal or let him walk.

I mean he could come back and be healthy and play more since he wasn’t even playing a whole lot last year so I thought maybe a would like a change of scenery but who knows
