Pens don't have the assets for a miller trade

The Canucks are getting a two young players the Rutherford regime has long been a fan of, plus a prospect he favored, plus a 1st round pick, PLUS someone to relieve them of their cap hell. Seems like a fair trade to me.

Those two young players happen to play positions we are very strong at. We don’t need anymore wingers, Kapanen would be on the fourth line. We don’t need POJ, he would likely be third pair or healthy scratch. Terrible trade for Vancouver. Using the “Ruthford likes these guys” Is a lazy and poor argument

Give it up. You guys opened this can of worms with the incessant Marino (which I said would NEVER happen) trades and it will continue until it eventually doesn't happen lol

It sucks, because Pens fans are entering Leafs Holl/Kerfoot territory now.

Ducks are going to decline the hell out of that. We don't have any roster spots open for forwards, and you are not paying us enough to eat that cap, especially since both of them have term.

GROSS overpay for Miller I would think VAN would jump at that. Horrible deal for PIT
