Leafs are not interested in trading Knies and Niemela as they have bright futures in Toronto.

Kyle Connor is a very good scorer, he is also abysmal defensively to a quite frankly hilarious degree.

Knies and Niemela are very good prospects right now.

He likely scores 50 with Tavares and nylander and it also allows JT to run a more defensive game that he has been exceptional at the last few seasons, at least that I have seen. I also don't think KFC is as bad defensively as you say personally.

I know, but this team would be unreal to watch. Never a good idea to give up all your futures going for a cup but Toronto seems like they are kind of desperate and Dubas could also be desperate to keep his job. But Detroit did that to keep the playoffs streak running and now we are stuck with this pain.

No he is hilariously bad defensivly. That line is already not great two ways and adding a pure one way winger wont help that. Like i said before, he's a great scorer but he's not worth near that much in a trade.
