Description

This is obviously a very highly unlikely scenario. However, the recent news surrounding Kadri is that the Bruins could be a potential landing spot for him. I wouldn't be all up in arm by getting him, it would be a big risk giving him a contract of this size. If Sweeney and Neely truly believe this team is a contender for this year, why not go after him? Obviously if Krejci comes back I do not see this happening but at this point, if Bruins are in the hunt for Kadri, it could mean that Krejci isn't returning.

In terms of clearing cap I think it'll be relatively easy to dump Smith and Reilly. Now the problem will be clearing out one of Coyle or Foligno. I would love to keep Coyle over Foligno but with both of them having NMC I don't see a clear team(s) that they would be drawn to. So I went with the generic Foligno + 2nd to ARI. And yes, I know he won't waive, just a hypothetical.

I would hope it happens but at this point I don't really know. I would've expected him to re-sign after the Bruce firing.

I doubt zacha comes that cheap. No idea what Bergeron signs for given unique circumstances and market loyalty but he deserves WAY more if he resigns. Look what Stastny got last year (just referencing an older center). Bergeron is literally the reigning selke winner and his offense really hasn't dried up much. If we're talking open market value he likely is worth way more

Finally: I kinda thought Bruins fans hate kadri. Weren't his back to back suspensions against the Bruins? Am I misremembering? I may be...

Agree with this being very unlikely, but in this situation, if Kadri going to the B’s is even an option. Sweeney is going all in, and most likely Krejci is signing too. Only way I see this being affordable and being able get assets along the way.

1. Foligno has 10 team M-NTC find a home for him giving up no more than a 2nd
2. Reilly for a minimum of a 3rd or a 4/5 and a low tier prospect
3. I don’t see Grzelcyk’s name come up as often as I think it should. He will fetch more value than Reilly and Salary Cap wise it’s a better decision than moving Smith.
4. The only way I actually seeing all of this coming to fruition with Bergeron Kadri Krejci down the middle is if Ullmark is moved. It won’t happen because of his full NMC but if he doesn’t waive it this year. Next year when it goes to a M-NTC with 10 teams I believe. He is definitely getting moved
