Tatar Holtz 2023 1st my guess

Holtz Severson and a top-5 protected 1st is fair.

Def Holtz as they will want to pair him with Eklund

this seems like an ideal match and price.
we will see I think Palat makes this a lot harder to pull off.

With reasonable extension, I think the price will be close to what Fiala got from Kings (playoff 1st plus solid prospect).

Without extension, it will be less.

You are not getting Timo without Holtz. Period. Lay off the pipe.

I think Fiala was an underpay, and Tkachuk was an overpay. but both have merit here as all 3 players are similar in age and value. Holtz plus the 1st would be between the two and i feel would be fair. we would be over the moon to get Severnson added but not a requirement as i think we might have a shot at him in FA. with Nemec Hamilton and now Marino no reason to sign Severenson long term.

i am fine giving up holtz and a top 5 protected 1st but don't want to give up Severson. what would you take instead of severson.
