I like the monahan trade, i donno if thats enough for calgary to eat half the contract but overall i've seen a lot worse options on other threads and him at 3 mil is solid. I think him between maybe a landy and nichushkin or rants and he would be able to produce a bit more as well

Well, now I'm thinking maybe trading JTC and going after Wennberg plus a cheap wing like Heinen might be a decent option. Good for the brass to be patient - something just might shake loose nobody could possibly see coming.
