In what world is a 23yr old nearly point per game player worth the same as a veteran with one year left?

1. NJ robbed. No way they trade Bratt for old Tarasenko who is UFA in a year.

2. No way Krug waives to go to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I'm a St. Louis fan, I know Vladi is still an elite goal scorer. What I mean is he is much older than Bratt, not to mention damaged goods. It's just not enough, simple as that.

Calgary has already lost Johnny Hockey, and now they are losing Tkachuk. What more can they really afford to send to New Jersey? Not trying to hate, but Fitzy would lose his job for this.

I really bother me how everybody says Vladi has no trade value. Also the deal would have vladi extending in NJ. So its not a rental.

So make it contingent on signing extension.

Vladi has trade value. He just doesn't hold a candle to Bratt when it comes down to club control and overall potential at his age.

You obviously havent being reading thread after thread of people saying he isnt even worth a 2nd rounder or two mid level prospects. Shoot i bet NJ fans would trade Tatar for Vladi straight up. Vladi Has way more value than that.

As far as Thomas for Vladi of course i would not make that deal as Thomas has an 8 year contract.
