Unlikely Winnipeg moves Dubois without at least one quality piece coming back. Plus you need to add compensation if you want to dump Drouin on the Jets.

I think this trade is close if say Ylonen and/or Kidney are added. Going to be hard to get great value for someone who only wants to play in MTL. There is quantity with quality coming back to WPG. The wildcard is Drouin, if he plays then he should produce and being reunited with Ehlers might be the spark he needs and he is also playing for his next contract. But on the other hand he could suck and waste $2.75 mil in cap.

If the rumors are correct that MTL is serious about Dubois then Hughes will overpay sooner than later.
