Getting nicked up and missing a few games isnt injury concerns. Last year was the only time he has missed anything of note

12 games in 2019-20, 15 games this season, plus another 13 in the playoffs. For a young small defensemen in the NHL this is a concern. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of his, but this is something that a team trading for him will think about when it comes to negotiating a price.

That's a risk you take with any player - he's been available most of his career and had no major injuries (read: structural injuries such as torn ligaments) or surgeries. Josh Anderson is a big dude and had shoulder surgery prior to MTL picking him up so I don't buy the "Girard has injury concerns" line. This is a bad return for Girard, period.
